Acai Berry Extract

INCI Name: Glycerin, Euterpe Oleracea (Acai Berry) Fruit Extract, Chlorophenesin, Benzoic Acid, Sorbic Acid, Phenoxyethanol.

Multiple Uses: There is no disputing that the Acai Berry is a superfood, rich in antioxidants. The anthocyanins found in Acai play a role in our cellular protection system, helping to keep cells strong against the invasion of free radicals, both inside and outside the body.

Acai Berry Extract’s high antioxidant content makes it a highly beneficial ingredient in modern beauty products. It is extremely high in many forms of plant phytochemicals (antioxidants), that contribute to slowing or reversing the typical ageing processes related to oxidative damage. In fact, the berries are one of the planet’s highest sources of antioxidants, with one berry holding ten times the amount of antioxidants as grapes, and two times the amount as blueberries.

Why do we prefer extracts in liquid form? They are easy to use in bases and do not normally require heating to be properly mixed in. Many customers have expressed frustration when attempting to incorporate extract powders into viscous formulations due to issues with powders not fully dissolving. Our goal is to keep this as easy and enjoyable as possible!

Please Note: These are only suggested usage rates. Each formulation is different and you must test in small batches to find the percentages that work best for you. Always start by mixing in a low percentage, then gradually add until you reach your desired result.
