Cucumber Extract
INCI Name: Glycerin, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Chlorophenesin, Benzoic Acid, Sorbic Acid, Phenoxyethanol.

Multiple Uses: Cucumber extract is plentiful in antioxidants and widely used in skincare for its ability to cool inflamed skin and protect against damage caused by UV exposure which makes it a great choice for post-sun care. The extract is antiseptic as well as a good source of silica which is important for strengthening connective tissue.

Cucumber extract helps reduce redness and puffiness. The polysaccharides in cucumber extract create a gel-like barrier that helps retain moisture making it an excellent emollient.

Our proprietary extraction process allows for the isolation and separation of the beneficial constituents without any of the undesirable by-products. Our Extracts are low-color, low-odor and cost effective, as well as having a consistent lot quality you can count on.

Use it in your Skin Care Products
Usage in Skincare: Use at from 0.1 to 1% in your Lotions and Creams and Body Butters
Usage in Haircare: Use at from 0.1 to 1% in your Conditioners and Hair Care Treatments
Usage in Soaps: Use at from 0.1 to 1% in your Soap products
Usage in Liquid Soaps: Use at from 0.1 to 1% in your Liquid Soap products

Please note that these are only suggested usage rates. Each formulation is different and you must test in small batches to find the percentages that work best for you. Always start by mixing in a low percentage, then gradually add until you reach your desired result.

    My Dew

    I use this cucumber gel in my “ Dew” along with other ingredients it can be used over moisturizer and even over full face makeup to give you a dewy youthful glow. When using over makeup I just explain to my customers to place a small amount in their fingertips and tap tap tap over the whole face lightly! This results in full makeup with a youthful dewy glow. It’s also great for the skin! Try mixing it with aloe gel but I can’t give you a list of all my ingredients, I did too much research and trial and error! 🙂
